Yay, my new dental policy just went into effect!
It has been so long since I’ve been insured that I’ve been suffering from quite a lot of dental pain. Fortunately, my new employer provides an insurance plan that is extremely flexible. Because of that, I’ll be getting my teeth corrected immediately. My policy is so comprehensive, in fact, that I am seriously pondering going beyond the ordinary basic dental measures and looking into some cosmetic dentistry work too. My kids have been asking about doing some of those fancy new clear braces or some laser tooth whitening, so I’ll see what kinds of prices we can get on dentists who do that sort of thing.
The major difficulty, for us, is that first I need to find a dentist close to home. I feel bad to say it, but our family currently has no regular family dentist that we know and trust. We live in Tampa, Florida, so I’ve been on the lookout for a Tampa FL dentist that is reputable and has a a lot of good experience with the things we’re looking for. It’s not so easy to find! There are a lot of things you want to consider when you’re finding a dentist. Like, I really don’t know if I would want to see a dentist who didn’t get the majority of his experience working with families.
As far as the new types dental practices go, I’ve whether they’re a good option for us. The newest and most advanced techniques have certainly been taking off these last decade. All the time I’ve been hearing about them on my favorite talk radio programs, how much better they are than the more old-fashioned dentistry techniques. I’ve been looking around the internet for “laser dentist Tampa” and I’m impressed by how much the training and techniques they use is just way ahead of what you would have been given 25 years ago, so I’m hoping that my family will be able to enjoy such advanced dentistry now that I have a a dental insurance plan. No more dental emergencies for us!
